Experis IT, is searching for a Senior Information Security Analyst for CarMax,the nation?s leading used car retailer. CarMax has been chosen as ?One of America?s Best Companies to Work For? by Fortune Magazine, several years in a row.

Our client is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to fulfill ongoing information security requirements. The candidate should be well rounded and have knowledge in general information security domains. The candidate will be responsible for two areas within the information security program. The first is the incident response program and the second is to act as a subject matter expert on security to other groups within the CarMax organization.

Job Description:

Maintain an understanding of the current vulnerabilities, response, and mitigation strategies used in cyber security operations.

Provide advanced intrusion analysis support to high technology investigations in the form of malware analysis, computer evidence seizure, computer forensic analysis, data recovery, and network assessment.

Conduct general network traffic analysis.

Perform IDS signature review and environment tuning for emerging threats.

Research and maintain proficiency in tools, techniques and countermeasures.

Analyze and report cyber threats as well as assist in deterring, identifying, monitoring, investigating, and analyzing computer network intrusions.

Act as a subject matter expert to other development groups educating developers in security best practices.

Other information security projects as necessary.

Qualifications:

5~7 years of experience in a security analyst role for a medium to large company or consulting organization.

Demonstrated knowledge of common network security vulnerabilities.

Experience in computer intrusion analysis and incident response.

Knowledge and understanding of network protocols, network devices, multiple operating systems, and secure architectures.

Experience in computer evidence seizure, computer forensic analysis, and data recovery.

Experience with current cyber threats and the associated tactics, techniques, and procedures used to infiltrate computer networks.

Experience with technologies such as SourceFire, BlueCoat Proxies, Nexpose, AirDefense, McAfee EPO and DLP software a plus.

Security and/or technical certifications (i.e., CISSP, SSCP) are desirable.
