Pocket Will Have You Grabbing Content by the Handful

I've been playing around with Pocket, a not-so-new app which may have undergone one of the smartest name changes in the history of the App Store -- previously Pocket was known as "Read It Later." The app basically lets you snag content that you find online and store it in a handy way for reading or viewing at some point in the future.

Ben Flajnik & Courtney Robertson: PURE Love in Vegas

Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson of The Bachelor made sure everyone remembers they are still together as they hosted a party at Las Vegas' PURE nightclub.

Because nothing says "normal couple" like paid appearances in Sin City.

The couple got up close and personal poolside on Saturday as they smooched at the Wet Republic Ultra Pool party, then walked the red carpet that night ...

The pair, who have been plagued with rumors of a split since the March season finale of the reality show, seemed to revel in being the guests of honor for the night.

People were quick to write them off after the way she conducted herself all winter, but by making it a few months already, they've already exceeded expectations.

What do you think: Will Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson last?

Google Releases Full Report On Street View Investigation, Finds That Staff Knew About Wi-Fi Sniffing

evilbearEarlier today Google released the full report of the FCC's investigation into the collection of? "payload data" from open Wi-Fi networks -- aka passwords, email and search history from open networks -- that its fleet of Street View cars obtained between 2008 and April 2010. An earlier and heavily redacted version of the report was released on April 15 but today's version only redacted the names of individuals. The report found no violation of any wrong doing by the company because there was no legal precedent on the matter. The FCC found that Google did not violate the Communications Act citing the fact that Wi-Fi did not exist when it was written. However,?the FCC did fine Google $25,000 for obstructing the investigation, which was presumably the outcome of Google refusing to show the FCC what the data being collected entailed because it might have shown that the company broke privacy and wiretapping laws. Google says any obstruction was result of the FCC dragging out the investigation. Interestingly enough, the report did reveal that the data harvesting was not the act of a rogue engineer and that said engineer notified the Street View team of what was going on. (Wait. What? Google knew this was going on! It gets even better.)

Was Lindsay Lohan a "Total Nightmare" on 'Glee' Set?

At this point in her career, Lindsay Lohan can't afford to make anybody angry -- especially not anybody from the hit show that could usher in her comeback. So you'd think that when Lindsay showed up for work on the set of Glee, she'd be on her best behavior... right?

Google Maps 'Cube' game rolls out, back, up, back again

Cast your mind back to January if you will. Head full of steamy CES action? Of course, but you may also remember Google teased us about a new tilt-and-roll Maps game. Well, it looks like the creators may have missed the original February deadline, having finally snuck it out this week. The browser-based game is a series of maze challenges, that'll take you through the streets of San Francisco, downtown Tokyo and beyond. All atop Google's iconic 3D textured maps, naturally. Eight levels in total are on offer, making it an ideal lunchtime -- or if the boss is away -- afternoon time kill. Roll down to the source link below to give it a spin, nudge and roll.

Josh Barnett: ?I was born for this?

On May 19, Josh Barnett will take on Daniel Cormier to decide the winner of the Strikeforce heavyweight grand prix. When he walks into that cage, he'll bring with him the experience of 36 fights, including eight wins in his last eight bouts. In the video above, he says he was born to fight, and has a mean streak no one else has. Will that make a difference against Cormier, who has elite wrestling and knockout power? Nintendo aims to flog 18 million 3DS, up to 10.5 million home consoles this fiscal year

Image

All eyes are on Nintendo, now that it has revealed losses of $460 million. Buried in all of the financial paperwork were the revelations that it sells the 3DS at a loss, its plans for digital distribution and its projected sales figures for this year. It aims to flog 18.5 million 3DS handhelds and 10.5 million Wii consoles by March 31st 2013. But wait, what about the Wii U? That figure actually encompasses both old and new hardware, so it is either hoping for a sharp fall in Wii sales or a tough opening for the new baby. It's a bold pair of figures that relies upon how well New Super Mario Bros 2, Animal Crossing and the new hardware capture the public's imagination in a time when people are tightening their belts (especially if they've been using Wii Fit).

A MicroReview Of The Fantastic $9.99 MicroStylus

microstylus-3This just might be the best stylus ever made. I'm completely serious. The problem with most styli is that there is never one around when needed. Besides that, the pen form factor is often not conducive for use on a small screen. But the MicroStylus, well, it's so tiny but yet functional that it's perfect for the task. Plus it's only $9.99 and stores neatly in a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Confirmed: Those North Korean Communist Assclowns Are Pathetic [Weapons]

Those North Koreans are a joke, starting with their stupid leaders, their military imbeciles, the moronic scientists and the sheep that cry for their dead leaders while half of the country is dying of starvation. Witness their latest inanity after failing to launch another of their useless rockets: a parade of fake long-range missiles. More »

A-Rod: Cameron Diaz Is One of the Greatest People Ever

Talk about a nice guy! Alex Rodriguez and Cameron Diaz always kept their relationship hush-hush during their time together, but now that they've split the Yankees star is ready to open up about his ex (at least a little bit). And he has nothing but sweet things to say about his former leading lady.

European Patent Office invalidates IPCom 3G patent, gives good news to Nokia and HTC

European Patent Office invalidates IPCom 3G patent, gives good news to Nokia and HTCIPCom's had its way with many mobile manufacturers, including Nokia and HTC, by suing them for patent infringement in German courts. However, the Finnish and Taiwanese firms got good news today when the European Patent Office invalidated one of its 3G patents -- the very same one it used to obtain an injunction against HTC. IPCom's not going away quietly, however, as it plans to appeal the EPO's decision. That means that the folks in Espoo and Taoyuan City aren't out of the woods yet -- but it should at least give them a bit more bargaining power in negotiations to end their (seemingly endless) legal spats.
