Toyota Logistics Services Recognizes Union Pacific Railroad with President's Award for Logistics Excellence

OMAHA, NE.,--April 9, 2012 -- Toyota Logistics Services recognized Union Pacific Railroad as the top rail transportation provider with its 2011 President's Award. Union Pacific received this award for its high level of overall logistics excellence among rail carriers.

Union Pacific also received Toyota's Logistics Excellence Awards for on-time service performance and customer service. Toyota Logistics Services recognizes outstanding performance of all logistics suppliers, including truck, marine and railroad companies.

Quality scores emphasize damage-free service, year-over-year damage reduction, process improvements and reduction in damage cost per vehicle.
